Fischer wore wranglers for the first time last night....notice we had to roll them up a little! We sure LOVE our wrangler baby.

Fischer is all dressed up in his winter suit. We can hardly believe that he is ten months old!

We have started calling him SILLY BUDDY after his favorite stuffed animal. It is a little puppy named silly buddy! Thanks G'ma Terry for such a nice toy!

Fischer in his exersaucer and playing with his kouvalias! He has learned to sit up, but he prefers to just roll around everywhere. I HAVE to child proof my house now. The other day I left him in the livingroom for a little bit while I was in the kitchen. I came back to check on him, and he had rolled across the livingroom and was banging his head against the exersaucer...trying to roll over that I suppose!

A lovely visit!

We had a wonderful visit with my mom. We didn't get home until 12AM on Thursday. It was a long drive, but well worth it to have my mom here. On Friday my mom and I just visited and hung out. My mom bought Fischer a kouvalias toy! They are so wonderful and I will send pictures.
On Saturday morning my mom and I went with G'ma Susie and Brenda to a craft fair. I found the best pans ever! The cafeteria ladies were selling them to raise money for a scholarship. I never thought I would enjoy anything about a school cafeteria, but they do have really nice pans.
PS: Don't worry they were new not used!
On Saturday afternoon my mom and I had facials at a Spa in town. It was such a fun and girly thing to do with my mom. Fischer also came along. There was a t-shirt that I really wanted to buy~ it said Spa Diva! I don't think I would mind that. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that will never be my lot in life because after our facials I had to go and pick up DOG FOOD. I don't think a spa diva would have to do that. ha ha ha
But I do think that every mother deserves at least one chance to go to a spa and pamper herself.
On Sunday we went to union meeting on the other side on the mountain and then came home for a relaxing afternoon.
We had to leave early on Monday to take mom to the airport. I always cry when I have to say good-bye to my mom! I can't help myself. So I sobbed and Chris tried his best to comfort me. But we only have a little time to wait before we see each other again for Christmas!

Today is the day!

My mom is coming. We are leaving about 2PM to go and pick her up in Denver. It should be a wonderful visit. We haven't seen her since May.
Fischer is sitting in his new favorite place...his high chair. He loves banging toys, spoons and about everything he can find on the tray.

I love it because it keeps him so preoccupied that I can get some stuff done.
Chris and Clark finished putting the back door in the house today! I will send a picture as soon as I can.

I decided to make a sign for Fischer...so I put little frogs on it because his "nursery" is frogs. I put "nursery" in quotations because really its just a little corner of our livingroom, but it works for now.
We put our first window in the house today too!

Today was a busy day on the ranch!

We preg checked all of our cows. I ran the computer and Fischer stayed with me until lunch time. Then Brenda and G'ma Susie watched him for me. It was a fun time for him and them!!!
He loved riding on the horse.
Uncle Scott and Aunt Renee are here, which means cousin Chet is here to play with Fischer. It is so cute! They both look at each other and smile and squeal. They both know that there is another little person to play with.
Fischer has enjoyed watching all of the cows being worked. I cannot wait for the time when he can say moo moo when the cows run by...right now he likes to watch them but can be distracted by about anything.
I am sure you all remember the distractable stage!

I have officially lost 17.2 pounds on Weight Watchers! I am writing this on my blog so that the next time I have a baby and I feel like I will never lose the weight...I will know I can DO it!!! It just takes time and effort.
In my case it took 9 months. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Oh well, every time I look at Fischer...I know it was worth it!!!!
Speaking of Fischer...he is sure a little character. At meal time he cannot contain himself. He has to grunt and squeal if we are not feeding him fast enough. He also does not know a stranger. He smiles at everyone...I love it when he smiles because he just lights up.

My mom is coming soon and we CANNOT wait to see her. She flies in November 2!!!
I know that when she comes I WILL not hold Fischer.
