Some More First Birthday Memories!

Here are some more pictures of Fischer's first birthday. I just started using picasa to post pictures and I am loving it! I removed some red eye and also cropped his pictures.
The first shot is of him eating spaghetti. He really loves it. We had to strip him down to just his diaper to eat it! He loves to feed himself! So we love to let him try, even if most of it ends up in his lap.
The last two shots show him waving and playing patty cake. It is sure nice when they want to play games with you.
He is starting his first tooth, but it is sure taking a long time to actually push through his gums. I think this is normal? Do any of you experienced moms know?

CUTE pictures! We'll want pictures of the frog cake too!:) Fun to think of the first year celebration going on in the midst of snowstorms and wind over there!!
On the teething.....there is no such thing as normal - that is all we experienced moms have found out! It is a good excuse for any undesirable behavior - ask Chris if he remembers teasing me because when Wade was that age and he would cry, fuss, cling, etc I'd rely on the "he's teething" - Chris picked up on it pretty quickly and the harassment began! Good luck!

I'm with melody on the teething thing. Aidan has 4 theeth now and 2 more coming in. He is crawling alot now too, and walks around the furniture. everything is "normal" sort of speaking.

It takes a while for the teeth to poke through...don't worry...think about this...have you EVER seen any 2 year olds still waiting for their teeth to poke through?...nope! they will come when they are supposed to...you were over a year before your first tooth. We LOVE these..xoxoxoxoxo mom

Also wanted to say thanks for the "teething advice." It really does make a new mom feel better!
I guess there really isn't a "normal."
