I guess I will just post them some other time. :)
A few more things I want to remember...
Fischer can point out his nose, eyes, ears, mouth, toes and we are working on his knee. He also loves to blow his nose ALL by himself. If I try to help him that is not acceptable.
Does anyone else have this problem? :) You know, the "I can do it by myself" attitude?!? ha ha ha

I assure you, it is an age thing! He and Sadie are not that far apart in age and that sounds just like her. She loves to eat by herself and refuses to take a bite if Morgan or I are trying to give it to her. She is very independent and doesn't have a clue that she can't do everything herself. :)
Fisch is entering the developmental stage of "Autonomy versus Shame and Doubt" he is working to master his physical environment, while maintaining his self esteem...it is good to encourage him to do for himself, let him test the waters...he's learning that he can figure out how things work around him...don't squelch him...just gently observe from the sidelines to make sure he's safe...google Developmental Stages, then click on Erickson's Developmental Stages
These are stages we all go through, and depending on how well we complete these tasks... influences how well we develop as we go through life...definately worth checking out, for any mom as you are raising your little "task masters" Love, Mom
Google - Developmental Stages
Then check out the 2 topics on Erickson's work...we use it all the time at work...it is mandatory for all hospital employees across the country to know about these stages before we care for our patients (this is mandated by JCAHO..joint commission for accreditation for hospital organizations)..in other words...no accreditation...no medicare!!It's a big deal, so there must be some validity to it all.Love, Gma
I'm sure the independent stage has some downfalls, but I personally can't wait for Alli to want to blow her own nose! I'm ready to throw out the "booger sucker". She hates it.
Fischer is SO cute! Hope you are feeling well and your nesting is near complete!
