I can hardly believe my little boy is 19 months old...

I thought I would blog one last post of JUST Fischer Lee...
Fischerism's (to copy Amy):
Mommy
Daddy
"Wheres Daddy?"
"Wheres Mommy?"
Clark
Elk
Clock
"I want some"
"I want down"
"me like it"
"Ba Ba" for Grandpa
Puppy
Doggie
"Whats that?"
"Whose that?"
Yah in response to any question...
"I want up", or just UP
He does a funny giggle when you ask him what a horse says...
He says cock-a-doodle when you ask him what a rooster says...
He still moos at the cows...
He has started to laugh out loud when everyone else is laughing...I plan to post a video of it! It doesn't matter if he understands the joke or not. And more often than not, he laughs at the right time so that it makes the joke even funnier!
He still LOVES food. I now just sprinkle some gold fish on his high chair, and then he comes by and grabs some for a quick snack. Did I mention how much he loves gold fish? His Dad loves them too. :)
He loves books and helping Mommy clean! I wonder when that will change?!?
Bathtime is quite exciting...
Oh and sticks, dirt and rocks are fascinating...I cannot take him outside enough these days. Hopefully when baby #2 is here, I will feel a little more energetic (ha ha ha), and we will go exploring some more. :)
Overall, he is a happy, healthy little boy that we love very much! It is somewhat of a shock to think that I will have two little boys in a couple of days. I look forward to meeting our new little one, and I know Fischer will be a wonderful big brother.

Talking on "Ba Ba's" phone...
He always calls Grandpa on the phone...
Did I mention how much he loves phones?

Going for a wagon ride...

Look at how grown up he is...

Reading stories with Aunt Meagan...
This is one of his favorite things to do...

And then there were four...

Well, it is that time! I can hardly believe that on Wednesday our little family will include a new member. Lately, I have been so busy with company, and preparing for baby that I haven't checked the blogs. My brothers and sister came on my birthday. So that was a celebration. The boys then headed up to hike 64 miles in Yellowstone. Meagan stayed and helped me with Fischer and house work. I sure enjoyed her company and help. I miss her bunches. Then my Dad and brothers stopped by for a quick visit before heading back home.
We also enjoyed having Chuck and Melissa for the night right after Lana's wedding. Aaron and Candy came to stay with us last weekend, and on that Saturday we were joined by Ryan and Tonya for dinner.
Thank you to everyone for your anniversary/birthday wishes. I really appreicate it, and I wasn't purposely ignoring any of you. I just checked my email/blog yesterday after about a two week absence. I also wanted to say Happy Anniversary to Craig and Jocelyn and Happy Happy Birthday to Clayton. I have cards, but who knows when I will mail them. I have big plans to mail them Tuesday, but you know how that goes. :)
Also I wanted thank all of our friends for the well wishes for baby #2. We really appreciate it and look forward to meeting this little guy. We hope everyone can meet him soon too.
We will keep everyone posted.

39 weeks and REALLY ready to have a baby....heee heee

I have never been this far along...

I am SURE ready to just have my baby! :)

Lots of reading and new walking shoes!

Fischer's new sandals. He loves them. He loves shoes in general, and whenever he sees a pair they MUST go on his feet.

Fischer loves books. He has now started to request that we read to him lots and lots! Here is the count so far today...
The Little Noisy Book (Aaron and Candy left this book at our house...my child is obsessed with their book :)): 10
Hippos Go Beserk: 4

Our new baby's "nook" in the loft...

My reading "nook" in the loft. I cannot wait for my mom to come and read to Fischer after I have our new baby. I hope you enjoy these pictures mom, and I cannot wait to see you and Meagan!
PS I hope everyone else enjoys them too...:)

Our guest room is ready...

The hall way leading to the bathroom...

The "fall" bathroom for our guests to enjoy...

Summer days and our first overnight guests...

This is in reverse order, but I am too lazy to fix it! :) On Saturday night Aaron, Candy and Amelia came to stay the night. They were our first overnight guests. We sure had fun. Fischer and Amelia play really well together, and it was fun for all of the parents to just watch them interact. Aaron and Candy brought tons of REALLY good food, so the parents enjoyed chatting and eating lots of ice cream cake.
Then the workers came to stay with us on Monday night. Sandy and Stephanie were are workers when we were working so hard to finish the house. It was wonderful to have them stay in it finally!

Sandy and Stephanie before they had to leave.

Fischer and Amelia chasing a ball at East Fork.

Fischer and Amelia spotted a buzzing fly! It was very fascinating.

They enjoyed reading together before meeting.

Fischer loves to look out our front window.

Fischer enjoying a ride from Amelia.

Fischer's first bath in our utility sink.

Fischer and Amelia "chatting." They loved to sit on the ledge in front of our fire place and just visit.

Amelia doing Fischer's hair. She loved to play with his hair.

Too much sun screen can cause this hair style...

Haying memories...

For the past couple of days, Fish and I have been the hay crew cooks. Tonight we had everything ready to take out to the field, and then it poured rain. Fischer enjoyed watching the rain storm safe inside G'pa and G'ma's house.

Fischer loves to play with paint brushes. I think he has watched his mom paint lots. :)

Yummy corn on the cob!

Fischer had to floss his teeth, just like Daddy, after eating his corn.

Hand prints and Puppy prints on my window...

Fischer Lee weighs 22 pounds 8 ounces, and he only had to have one shot. We are enjoying just being home today.

Sorry for some reason the movies are not working right now!

I guess I will just post them some other time. :)
A few more things I want to remember...
Fischer can point out his nose, eyes, ears, mouth, toes and we are working on his knee. He also loves to blow his nose ALL by himself. If I try to help him that is not acceptable.
Does anyone else have this problem? :) You know, the "I can do it by myself" attitude?!? ha ha ha

Fischer Lee is 18 months...

Look at the BIG boy next to the TALL hay!

Fischer is 18 months, and we can hardly believe it. Yesterday after his nap, he crawled out of bed, walked to the stairs, climbed down the stairs, and walked to the fridge where he informed me that he needed a snack and a drink. He looked so BIG, and was acting so BIG!

He sings Day by Day for grace, and Tell Me the Story of Jesus while snapping his fingers. Sometimes he mixes the two tunes. Whenever he hears music he has to dance by waving his hands around and grinning. He also sits on his knees and bounces around.

He now has seven teeth, which he uses to "chew chew" his food. He still loves food, so much so that we have to watch that he doesn't choke himself.

All of the sudden, he just decided that he was going to walk the week that we were moving into our house! I think he was enjoying all of the extra space too. :)
He has his 18 month check up tomorrow. I am anxious to see how much he weighs, and then I will let everyone know. He has sure come along way from 2 pounds 15 3/4 ounces.
His little brother is now bigger than he was when he was born! I am 33 weeks and counting. Chris and I set up our crib this morning, and I have washed all of the bedding. It will be nice to have the room ready and waiting now that I am approaching my due date.
Hope you enjoy the videos of Fischer Lee!

Fischer Lee

He loves to sit in the dirt, and kick his feet back and forth! What a typical boy...

Reach...

Fischer is SO close to walking, but will only take a few steps and then plops (I don't know if that is a word) down. :)
He has started to sing the tune of "Tell me the story of Jesus, " while snapping his fingers.
Lately, Chris and I have discussed how much his little life is about to change when his brother arrives. If anyone has any advice on this matter, we would appreciate it. We want to make sure that he is included, and never feels left out.
So I am going to try and blog as much as I can about his world right now before his brother arrives. Then it will be fun to blog about them both! :)
I will post more pictures tomorrow of the carpet...yipppeeeee! It sure changes the look of the house...

Moving...sort of :)

I am sorry that I have been MIA with my blog posts and commenting on others blogs. I sat down tonight and finally read through them...
It was fun to see all of the new posts.
It seems like I haven't had a spare second to find a computer, and enjoy the blogs. So please know that you are all in my thoughts. For those of you who have ever moved/built a house you know how time consuming it can be...

Today Alisa and I cleaned the entire house, I now cannot move hee hee
JUST KIDDING sort of! :)
I am sore all over, but so excited with the finished product. We vacuumed, mopped and washed lots of walls. It is amazing what a little cleaning can do. Alisa even helped me put my cabinets together. Susie is making dinner tonight, and helping me watch Fischer. I cannot thank her enough...
My plan for the next couple of days is to move into my kitchen while the carpet guys are busy.
I will post some pictures near the end of the week once that is done! :) I cannot wait until the carpet is done. Then I can just set Fischer down and work work work...
I just want you all to know how much I appreciate your posts, and will comment when I find a spare second.
PS I loved Michelle's thought about the simple, ordinary things of our lives being so special. I know that I love all of the wonderful/ordinary things on everyone's blogs.
Now I am going to crawl to the dinner table, and then crawl to bed! ha ha ha
