Peter Rabbit and Cottontail welding???

Fischer loves to read about Peter Rabbit. The other day he informed me that he was Peter Rabbit and Hazy was Cottontail. We read the story about Benjamin Bunny getting a spanking from Old Mr. Benjamin Bunny because he went into Mr. McGregor's garden. This has been a good tool for Mommy...I inform him that I will have to spank him if he doesn't listen like Benjamin Bunny, and he shapes up right away.
We have also been reading Busy Busy Town by Richard Scarry. He loves that book, and yesterday he spotted a welder wearing a hat. So now he has to wear his helmet everywhere while he is welding.
These are a few memories I want to be sure to scrapbook!

Peter Rabbit and Cottontail going to see Daddy.

Fischer the welder...

Ed and Brenda have to leave soon, and we will miss them so.

The other day Ed and Brenda and George and Susie took the boys for a drive. Ed and Brenda bought them McDonald's, and Ed held Hazy's hand all the way to town and back. Such a precious memory, and one I don't want to forget.

George was quite excited to show the boys the toy he bought at Sam's (actually G'ma bought it but George was excited to show it to the boys :))! It was Curious George and his book!!! Hazy liked the tag better than the monkey.

G'pa and G'ma's sunflowers, garden carrots, fresh squash, and golden corn

We enjoyed a quick trip to see G'pa and G'ma yesterday. Fischer loved seeing the combine! He is really interested in them, and it was neat for him to see one in action.
G'pa gave me some golden corn for decoration. Chris told him I would spend $10 at target to buy corn as a decoration, so I might as well take some of his fresh from the field. :)
PS I am still using/borrowing Susie's camera. I will get a camera soon hopefully!!!

G'pa was harvesting sunflowers when we were there so the guys learned all about that from G'pa. It was really interesting, and we were even able to eat some of the sunflowers.

The combine (Fischer's favorite)...

I thought the dried up sunflowers were lovely!

G'ma found a worm while we were washing the garden carrots off...

Yummy FRESH garden carrots...

G'ma's squash...

G'ma had chairs just the right size for Hazy and Fischer. Don't you just love his pants? They were pushed up on accident, but sure look cute. :)

We shipped our calves today...

He looks so big in his cowboy shirt and wrangler jeans!!! I am sure glad I didn't have to ship my babies today. :)

We tried to take a fall picture of Hazen but he would not hold still long enough.
So at least I have one of him laying in the leaves, just not of his face.

Notice the rifle... :)

Hazen with his best buddy Brenda. He just loves her, and always reaches for her.

Pictures of the boys...

Fischer loves to go hunting at G'ma's house because she has neat guns. He always asks Brenda or G'pa to go hunting with him. Hazen is even big enough to join in now!

Hazen before his first haircut...

Hazen after his first haircut...

He looks SO BIG in the picture!

Fischer's camera smile...:)

A New Digital Camera?

I need to buy a new digital camera. I was wondering if I could have input from you bloggers because there are so many choices, and I am not camera savvy. I just know I want something that fits in my pocket, and is easy to transport.
Now everyone knows why it has taken me so long to post anything! I finally started using Susie's camera until I buy a new one.

My little hunters...

Football

Brenda had a hole in her sock, and the boys thought that was pretty interesting.

The boys and Brenda were riding on a train to Oregon.
