All Ready for Branding!

Branding is pretty serious business.

This picture was taken right after Mommy's photo shoot with Fischer. The boots and chaps did not last long! :)

Fischer was 15 months yesterday!

We had a big day yesterday. We were able to see our new baby, and Fischer had his 15 month appointment. He did great and is growing like a weed! I have been wondering where all the food we feed him goes. Well, now I know. He grew 3 inches since his last appointment! He weighs 19 pounds 13 ounces, and is 30 inches long.

Fischer's lunch menu:
A WHOLE hamburger patty
A WHOLE slice of cheese
A WHOLE piece of bread...and the list continues!
He even ate tuna fish with Dad. I have yet to find a food he doesn't like. :)
If you scroll down I posted several videos of Fischer. I guess a mother never tires of video taping her child. :)

Lately, we have been enjoying throwing a ball back and forth. Everytime Fischer sees a ball he says, "Ba." Today, I told Fischer to go and get me a book, and he DID. It is so fun when they start to know what you are talking about.
Also we had a fun thing happen yesterday. Fischer stood for awhile without holding onto anything. But then once he realized he was...down he went.
Fischer has also started to crawl on his knees. I knew he could do it! YEAH

Turtles it is!

We found out today that we are having a BABY BOY! It was funny because at first the doctor thought it was a girl, and then our baby turned a little, and it was pretty apparent that our little one was a BOY.
So I have decided to decorate his nursery with turtles. :) I thought it would be fun because Fischer's is decorated with frogs.
Frogs for Fischer and Turtles for our next little boy!
I loved reading all of your guesses...and for the record we only have one baby in there! :)
But they say you are more likely to have twins the older you get...so maybe next time. I would love to have twins (maybe next time it will be twin girls, and then I will have two of each!). Also Michelle, don't lose hope about not ever having twins. My mom is a twin, and then she had twins! It can happen.

A Guessing Game for Everyone to Play! :)

Well, tomorrow is the big day! I have my 20 week appointment. I am looking forward to seeing the baby. My main concern is that the baby is healthy. However, I am also looking forward to finding out the sex of the baby if I can. I am not old fashioned...if the doctor knows, he better tell me! So I thought it would be fun to see what everyone else thinks that we are having.
What do you think? Boy or Girl; Blue or Pink
At least in this game you have a 50/50 chance...ha ha ha!

Sage Chickens Struttin'

Bad Cow continued...

I felt like this video needed some explanation, especially for those who do not live on a ranch. :) I grew up in the city and would have thought that this was very mean, but after my explanation hopefully you will see why it is necessary.
Picture this: This big cow waits around until another cow has her baby. Then after the baby gets up, and tries to eat its first meal...this BAD cow bumps the little calf off of its first meal and starts taking milk from the mother who just gave birth to a new calf!
So Chris ropes all of the "suckers" (as they are referred to)...and gives them a nose ring. Now when the bad cow tries to take milk from another new mother the "pokies" all around the nose ring will poke the new mother so she will not let the bad cow suck anymore! Ha
PS The loud breathing in the video is NOT me! It is the cow. George was confused, so I thought I would clarify. Also if this is weird to you, I understand. But just think how much weird stuff I had to get used to moving to a ranch from the city! ALOT ha ha ha

Bad Cow...

Fischer doing lots of new stuff!

Lately Fischer has been doing lots of new stuff. He has started singing the tune to ABC, asking please, giving lots of hugs and kisses, and saying "hi" and "bye". Dad and him also have a fun game. Dad says "Does anyone want some/a (it doesn't matter what it is...the other day it was a spankin)?" And Fischer raises his hand to let you know he wants it!
He also has started to do a "bear crawl!" He is still doing his commando crawl, but now he is getting so fast at it that sometimes he almost topples over. Sandy said he has to "swim" instead of crawling because he is a fish. Another trick is he likes to stick his tongue in and out because he can feel his TWO bottom teeth. He sure looks big after his haircut.

I will post videos when I find time, but wanted to remember all of his new tricks.

Fischer saying "Please"

Lots to Blog about!

We sure enjoyed having Sandy and Shawna stay with us Friday and Saturday night. Fischer loved playing with both of them. In this picture, Sandy is playing peek-a-boo with Fischer's little puppet horse.

Here is a family picture taken today by Shawna. Fischer looks all grown up after his haircut.

Here is Fischer before his haircut...he was not very excited! I'm sure glad Sandy and Shawna were there to help us. Chris had to cut his hair, while I held his head. Sandy had the envelope so we could save every piece, and Shawna ran the camera! :)

Morgan B. aka "Neo" Wannabee!

Springtime in the Rockies

As requested...a family shot. I have my 20 week appointment next week. :)

You can't tell that we had so much snow last week from this picture, which was taken today.

This picture was taken last week on Thursday.

Here we are...again!

We have LOTS of baby calves right now! It is sure cute to see them running and playing.

This past weekend we enjoyed seeing Nate and Ralna and Tim and Myrna.

Fischer reading a book with G'ma Susie. Last week when the weather was so bad, we decided to stay at G'pa and G'ma's house because it made it easier for Chris to check on the cows. So Fischer and G'ma had lots of special time together. :)
