He was only 11 days old!!!
"So how you been doing today?" Fischer asks this question several times a day to everyone!!!
The kids loved going to the airport last week for our trip. Fischer especially loved the excavators (escalators), and while we were landing in the airplane Fischer said he had a "tummyache in his ear."
Hazen pointed at everything he saw at the airport and on the airplane and said "dis!"

Chris loved the fishing, and I think he even enjoyed the part after when we drove around to see the scenery, and went to the aquarium and the zoo.
I think my favorite part of the trip was the Japenese Gardens. It was so beautiful, and we actually took a descent family picture there. :)
The kids also enjoyed the beach, and all of the sealife that we saw either on the boat or at the aquarium. Fischer loved seeing the crabs and the seals especially. Another highlight was seeing the baby elephant that was only 11 days old at the zoo!
The big city brought lots of new experiences. Fischer loved the "tunnels" that we passed under every so often. Chris did not, however, appreciate driving in the big city! We loved traveling to a new place, but we were sure ready to be home by the end of our trip. :)

I think it is so funny when they start asking the how are you question. Clayton loved that question...only he always anticipated them asking how old he was so here is what he would say; "SO! How are you today? I fine and I am 2 years old and my birthday is August 1st!" He left so many people with their jaws hanging open!

It looks like you guys had a great trip! The sunset pictures on the beach were more than I could take! I think it's time we had a trip like that!
Alli's new question is "Why?" It came completely out of the blue. I'm not ready to answer it repeatedly only to hear another "but why Mommy?" from her in response. Such is life with a toddler.

Where did you see the baby elephant at? Ironically, we just went to the zoo here in Pittsburgh where there are 2 new baby elephants! Your vacation looked like so much fun. The beach must have been a blast. Great pics!
