Forever In Blue Jeans

I didn't take any recent pictures this week of Mom with her boys. So I decided to do a flashback of me when I was little.
Yup folks this is me! Don't you just love the sucker in my hair!

I always knew I would be a rancher's wife! ha ha ha

Apparently, I was quite pleased with my undies!

One more layout I forgot to include...

If you look closely I "burnt" the edges of the red paper and the notebook paper. It was really cool to learn how to do this!
Also I have had several questions about my classes. I would highly recommend them. She is an awesome teacher, and there is no way I would have learned all of these new tricks with Adobe Photoshop elements without taking the classes. :)

~I just noticed that my date is off of the tag a little. I have since fixed it! If anyone notices typos please let me know.

A Stampin Up Party and some new digital layouts

Another cool thing about digital is you can change a layout with just switching up your title, picture and brush choices.

We made a May Day basket and a little book to hold 4x6 photos. I added the title to the front with my own letter stickers and a polka dot brad.

It was fun to have so many little kids here.

April is flying by!

Play doh is a new favorite with my boys!

The toy box is a new favorite peek-a-boo hiding place.

I love how this corner of our new room turned out. It is Chris's spot! I combined hunting, fishing, and cowboy stuff because that is what my hubby loves. :)

Don't you love the message on his shirt?
It is so TRUE!

The boys doing a jig.

Petting Gerry's dog...

We went on a walk the other day. Fischer told me he was "planning out his day." I guess he needs to rest his head when he is doing this.

Happy Hazy J

Going on a little adventure while we were walking...

There is no place like home!

Hiding in Mom's cupboard...

We've seen lots of semis lately bringing yearlings. The boys love it!

Just having a snack together...

365 Days of One Mountain

Here are a few pictures of the mountain in April! Hope you enjoy.

Forever In Blue Jeans

This is a recent family picture that was taken on Easter Sunday. Fischer is holding Pooh and Tigger. Lately, everyone in our family and G'pa and G'ma are characters from Winnie the Pooh. Fischer informed us that I'm Kanga, Hazy is Roo, Dad is Christopher Robin (how fitting ;)), G'ma is Owl and G'pa is Rabbit...and guess who Fischer is?!? Tigger or Pooh

Isn't a 3 year olds imagination wonderful!

Hazy and Fish also ate some candy right before meeting, which is why there is yellow stuff below Hazy's lip. :)

The last two layouts that I did for my class...

I just love the color orange, and I was able to incorporate it in both layouts. Now I need new eyes to see if there are any typos!!!

I plan to glue a real "live ;)" red fruit loop to this page after it is printed.

My Scrapbook Alchemy page and 9/52

Forever In Blue Jeans

I used digital scrapbooking to create my quotation title, the 3-photo block, the date, and my journaling blocks. I used my printer to print off one 8.5 by 11 sheet on matte photo paper. Then I cut and arranged each of the elements to fit onto my layout. I also used a flower hole punch (thanks Kristi) to cut flowers out of tinfoil. I thought it would add to the theme...since the boys used tinfoil for eyepatches. :) I also used another flower punch to add a little extra to my date in the corner. I added the chipboard hearts, and a little rub on "believe" to the corner! It was really great to combine both digital and paper scrapbooking. Hope you enjoy it!

It was a beautiful day at the park! We were visiting G'ma Wendy, G'pa Randall and Meagan. Thanks Mom for taking my picture with my boys. :)

More Digital Layouts...

Signs of Spring!

This is what I found in my house on Saturday!

Thankfully, Chris was able to grab him without hurting him...

Dad giving Hazy a horseback ride.

We started burning our woodpile out front...and the boys loved to watch.

Emily came over yesterday, and we died some eggs. The boys loved it even though most of the eggs were demolished by the end of it. :)
