Forever In Blue Jeans

Hazy J and I are snuggling! It is something that we do quite often. He loves to play with the sleeve of my shirt as he sucks him thumb.

Week 20 - "Silhouettes"

Be sure to head on over to www.iheartfaces.com to check out all of the beautiful face entries this week!
I am hoping that I can still be apart of the contest. I am still trying to figure things out! My husband Chris is building our deck that connects to the front of our log house. I love this picture because it captures everything even the backhoe bucket, and the wood chips flying.

I actually stiched something!

I stiched a border around the picture and journaling with orange embroidery floss. Then I added chipboard letters to spell He, and a chipboard dragonfly.

Nice Loop Chris & G'pa Pres "smoking the calves"

G'pa Pres has been "smoking calves" a long time. It was neat to capture Pres branding, and Chris in the background bringing another calf to be branded.

Nice Loop Chris! I finally took some branding pictures.

Forever In Blue Jeans

I cannot believe that it is already Thursday again! I still have not taken a recent picture of the kids and me. I have lots of pictures of Dad and the kids, which is why this challenge is important!
So here I am taking a picture of myself in the mirror. It was part of my assignment for a photoshop class that I am taking. I am going to scan my fingerprint into the computer, and then make a page about the things that I do, love, and hope for. It should be a fun page to make.
Hey at least it is a recent picture of me...and I finally learned how to turn my flash off after I took more pictures then I would like to admit with the flash light right in the middle of my face!!! ha ha ha

Watch those yearlings Splash!

Chris had me stand in a good spot so I could video the yearlings crossing the creek! It is pretty neat to see them splash, and to watch their reaction to the cold water. Some of them step gingerly across the creek, some just jump right in, and others hold their tail funny.

Some fun new pictures!

I took some pictures and videos of Chris moving the yearlings that were just trucked in today.

Can you see the pelicans flying in the blue, blue sky?

The boys have been unloading lots of semis lately. It seems they are as busy as Daddy with their yearling operation. :)

Forever In Blue Jeans

Here we are jumping on the trampoline right before we were married. These pictures that I have of us before we were married are so precious. These were taken before I understood the importance of pictures, and before I had a digital camera.

My mom is also in this picture, which makes it even more special. :)

Zoom Zoom & Random Acts of Dad!

Here are more layouts!

I plan to do this same layout for Fish.

Roxaboxen, Branding and Everyday Life

Sorry about the flash in this picture. I'm still trying to figure out my camera.
This is such a great book that my mom used to read to me. I highly recommend it if you are trying to find a good book for your kiddos. I have already bought one for all of the cousins...so Lisa, Amy and Renee don't worry about trying to find it.

I really like how this wall turned out downstairs. I love texture and color! Can't you tell???

I also noticed that I need to nudge my picture up a little bit. ;)

Here is our Roxaboxen downstairs. I just bought these letters at Hobby Lobby, and painted them the same burnt orange color as the basement. I plan to trim it with fake rock on the inside at some point.

I haven't taken very many branding pictures just because of my busy boys. But here is one that I found of Chris. Fischer always says that he likes seeing Daddy "smoke the calves."

Here is Hazy J throwing dog food all over my deck with his black boots and favorite t-shirt.

Dad came home yesterday morning after unloading yearlings. The boys were excited to see him. He is covering his head with his neck scarf...they thought this was hilarious.

And here he is folks...the yearling man himself. ha ha ha This is a typical Chris face!

My tulips are starting to bloom (the ones that were not run over or ripped out of the ground by a 20 month old.)

Yeah you know when you wonder what you accomplished in a day? Well, I actually did put these all away and planted the flowers in baskets.

We went hiking on Mother's day, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the Indian Paintbrush.

The guys have been building lots of fence lately. I thought this was a neat picture. The clouds make it extra special.

Adventures of Spring!

Peek-a-boo!

The boys helped Mom clean up around our willows today.

Yummy scotcharoo snack after dinner tonight.

This is what tulips look like when you have two boys under age 4 and 4 dogs! I think we are going to have to build flower beds.
Somehow tulips just can't take the toy car running over them over and over again!!!

DIRT

"Mom I found a pretty flower!"

He looks like a baby peacock. :)

Fischer is such a helper when we are cleaning anything up. I love how excited he is about helping Mom clean up...now if I could just get his Dad to be as excited about my little projects. ;)

Fischer fell asleep while eating and sitting up after the branding on Friday. We finally laid him down so he would be more comfortable.

The boys in their chaps.
