A Weekend to Remember...

We sure missed Jerm and Amy when we took this cousin picture with all of the grandparents...

A family picture...

Chet and Fischer playing with G'pa. Fischer's favorite thing to do is search in G'pa's pocket for his phone.

Takin' a ride after the branding...

I made some fruit pizzas for the branding...

We had a barbecue at our house after the branding. The guys fried "rocky mtn oysters," mushrooms, and onions. We also grilled hamburgers and gave everyone a tour of our house! :)
It was sure fun.

Some branding pictures...

man that looks like a good day on the ZN - Wish I could have been there. You had too many buckaroos there anyway - needed a cowpuncher on the scene....

Kate, you're glowing!!! That family picture is a great one, and you look so happy and pretty!!
Your pictures were making me wish I was there....until the frying of the oysters - just seeing that fryer makes me SMELL the hot grease and turns my stomach! Two years ago we had a "fry" at Owens and the men made some fabulous mushrooms to go with the oysters and we ate so much we were sick! Oh well, if I don't like them, that's more for them to enjoy!!

My first encounter with RM oysters was when I saw them in a tupperware container in my boss's fridge...they were RAW.I thought they were rasberries and was going to put a dollop of whipped cream on it and put it in their kids school lunch. HaHaHa...the kid set me straight by pointing and grimacing and said THOSE ARE...pause...THOSE ARE...the poor little kid couldn't muster up enough courage to call them by their name! I took a closer look, by GUM! WHAT A SPECTACLE!!!THOSE ARE BABY T-------S!...well..as they say in TEXAS.."All Y'all know what I mean!
I think the dad's nick name was "BIG SANDY"? Take Care, GRANNY TERRY

Somebody tell me the difference between a buckaroo and a cow puncher? I suppose a buckaroo is astride the horse and the cowpuncher is the one whose branding?...I've been nursing too long...Take Care, Gma terry
